Prasat Bei

Prasat Bei is a small three tower temple located between Baksei Chamkrong and the South Gate to Angkor Thom.  It is set back off the road and commonly reached by a short trail from Baksei Chamkrong.  The three towers are made of brick on top of a laterite platform.  The center tower is in good shape while the two side tower have collapse somewhat and not repaired.  The area in front and behind the temple has been completely cleared of vegetation.

The towers were built in the 10 century by King Yasovarman I dedicated to Shiva of the Hindu religion.  Below is the route hiking to Baksei Chamkrong first then to Prasat Bei.
