Shafer Canyon Overlook

 

Directly across the street from the Island in the Sky visitor center is a nice observation point looking into Shafer Canyon. The lookout is not that established with a specific location. It is rather a place to walk about the slick rock and observer the canyon below. Worth a look but be careful crossing the road.
