Lovers Lane Trail

 

The Lovers Lane Trail is 3 miles long and connects the Sol Duc resort camping area with junction of the Sol Duc Falls Trail and the Deer Lake Trail. It’s a nice trail following the Sol Duc River and eventually ascends along side a gorge before reaching the Sol Duc Falls. There are some good view points of the gorge along the way and several small side waterfalls feeding the Sol Duc River. However, many of these views are obstructed by the forest.

This trail is seldom traveled because you can simply drive to the Sol Duc Trail head and cut out two mile (4 miles if your doing this round trip), from your hike.

Equipment: Sturdy hiking shoes and rain jacket, depending on weather. Trekking poles may also be helpful as the trail is rocky
