<\/div>\n\nThis loop hike is just outside Leavenworth, WA and is a nice loop hike with great views of the Icicle Creek and gorges\u00a0 the creek cuts through.\u00a0 From the parking area on route 76, walk into the thick pine forest.\u00a0 After a short distance the pine needle covered path meets the junction with the Icicle Gorge Loop.\u00a0 The loop can be hiked in either direction.\u00a0 I chose to turn left and hike in a clockwise direction.<\/h4>\nInvalid slider id. Master Slider ID must be a valid number.\nAfter about a half mile, the trail crosses Icicle Creek on a steel foot bridge.\u00a0 This is the first Gorge.\u00a0 Impressive but not very deep.\u00a0 The trail continues for another mile with occasional access to the creek for some nice photos.\u00a0 The crosses Jack Creek on a log bridge and works its way back to Icicle Creek.\u00a0 After another mile, the trail comes out onto NF-7600.\u00a0 Turn right on the road which now crosses Icicle Creek.\u00a0 On the other side of the creek is the Rock Island campground.\u00a0 Stay right after crossing the creek and walk back into the forest following the trail. Watch for the signs in the campground directing you to the Icicle Gorge trail.<\/h4>\nStay on the trail for another 1.5 miles until you reach the beginning of the loop.\u00a0 Turn left back through the pine forest and the trailhead.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n
