It is considered part of the complex and your Angkor Archeological Park ticket will work to gain access to the site. It is out of the way but worth the effort to get out there and visit. The temple is completely restored and very impressive.<\/p>\n<p>The most unique feature about Banteay Samre is that it has an internal moat. You will notice the temples and sanctuary\u2019s are built close together and all are raised off the ground with a wide ledge surrounding each building.\u00a0 Even fewer people venture out this way.
