Poison Spider Petroglyphs

From the Poison Spider parking lot, walk the trail that leads to the slab with the dinosaur tracks. This can be seen from the parking lot and the trail is short but steep.  Work your way up to the cliff above the dinosaur prints by using the social trails. Along the high wall facing the parking lot there is some very nice petroglyphs.  There is also some on a few fallen slabs or sandstone along the cliff base.  There is no interpretive sign for these petroglyphs.

Directions: From the center of Moab, drive north on Route 191. Just over the Colorado River look on the right for a sign, “Potash Road.” Turn left and drive a few miles to the entrance to Poison Spider trail head on the right. Drive up the hill to the parking area.  There is plenty of parking and a pit toilet on site.
