Directions:

From the route 179/89A junction, take route 89A west for 2.4 miles.  Turn right on Andante Dr for 1.1 miles then left onto Skyview Way.  Trail head is at the end of the road.

Hike Info:

Well maintain trail popular with local trail runners. Very easy to flollow.

This loop hike starts at the Andante Trail Head at the end of Andante Road in Sedona.  From the parking area turn left (west) onto the Andante Trail and follow for a short distance until the trail ends on the Thunder Mountain Trail.  Turn left and follow until you reach a trail junction with the Lower Chimney Rock Trail.  Turn right and follow a short distance to the junction with the Upper Chimney Rock Trail and the summit trail for Little Sugarloaf Mountain.

Follow the Upper Chimney Rock Trail as it circles around Chimney Rock.  The trail has a few steep sections but they are not very long.  The trail ends back on the Thunder Mountain Trail where you turn right (south) and return to the Andante trail and back to the parking area.

 

Overall this is an enjoyable trail with easy access from Sedona. Below is a trail map and information from my hike.
