Water Canyon Falls and Trail

 

Water Canyon Falls can be seen as you hike up the Mossy Canyon Trail. While it is not very high, it is impressive because of the surrounding colorful cliffs and being in a typically dry area. At the Mossy Cave Trail split, turn right. You begin to ascend a steep hill and rise above the water fall. Eventually you arrive at an area where you can walk down the hill to the top of the waterfall. A little up stream you can cross and
there is a steep trail across the stream to a small arch. This is very steep. Use caution when descending.

There is a social trail following the stream further into the park.  You can explore to several more drop offs.  The water rushing through the canyon is a great scene with the backdrop of the colorful hoodoos.
