Adventure Travel
Lava Point campground is about an hour and a half from the south entrance of Zion National Park. To get here you leave the park and drive up Kolob Terrace Road. This road eventually re-enter the park. The campground is at about 8000 feet above sea level so the nights can get chilly in the summer and spring and fall can be down right cold. There is only 6 campsites at a first come first serve basis. The campground has pit toilets and garbage bins. There is no running water at the site so be sure to bring enough water for whatever adventure you have planned.
