Terrace of the Elephants

The Elephant Terrace is part of the Royal Palace complex serving as part of the east wall. It is said that this is where the King would watch parades of his army. The front wall of the terrace and beautifully carved elephants. There are also three dimensional versions with the trunks of the elephants almost acting as a decorative column. The terrace is a pathway connecting the Leper King Terrace and Phimeanakas Temple and directly across from Prasat Suor Prat.
