From the parking area follow the signs for the ‘North Loop Tail/Gobbler Ridge Trail’. After a short distance the trail splits with the North Trail going left and Gobbler Ridge to the right. This leads to a blue feeder trail to reach Gobbler Ridge. Sections of this entire trail are either cut grass or wide forest road. There are many trees with Spanish Moss making it very picturesque.
The trail does reach Lake Kissimmee but there is no access to the water. You will also reach Dunk’s Tower which you can climb up for a great view. The tower has been refurbished by volunteers and they did a great job.
This is a very easy trail that is quiet and the trees with the moss is a great experience.
