Mineral Bottom Camping

 

Just before the park entrance at Island in the Sky there is a sign for Mineral Bottom Road. It is just after the turn off for the Horse Thief campground. Turn right on Mineral Bottom Road. Along this road, generally on the left, there is a number of dispersed campsites. I found these to be excellent alternatives to a traditional
campground and no noisy neighbors. I will be camping here in the future.
