Adventure Travel
There are two ways to reach Laguna Del Caminante. Either by the Andorra Valley or by way of Canadon De La Oveja. I have only done this from the Andorra Valley. Most people do this as a two day thru hike trip, camping at the laguna and either returning the trail you came in on or hiking out on the other. I did it as a long day hike.
The trail junction with the Laguna Del Caminante trail is obvious with a wood sign pointing the direction. Facing the sign, to the left is the Canadon De La Oveja Trail. To the right is the Laguna del Caminante trail. Continue onto a sloping green field with plenty of wildflowers toward the laguna.
The trail here is steep but offers great views. After rounding a corner, the trail levels out and after a short distance you have to descend a very steep drainage to arrive at the laguna. There are some great camping spots here and a good place for lunch. The is also a hidden waterfall that you can clearly hear and occasionally catch a glimpse.
