Old Growth Forest Trail

 

Located along Sol Duc Road is a pull out for a .5 loop walk through an old growth forest. There is some signage before you get to the pull off which are on the right hand side when driving in from Route 101. This is a very easy trail to follow and the scenery is great. There are no expansive views but the shades of green from so many different types of vegetation is hard to describe. This was one of my favorite walks in the park, even though it is rather short.
